B.Ed. is a professional course that prepares teachers for upper primary or middle level (classes VI-VIII), secondary (classes IX-X) and senior secondary (classes XI-XII) levels. Mata Sushila Institute of Education is recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) for B. Ed. course with an annual intake of 100 students. The college is affiliated to Patlipiutra University, Patna (College Code: PPU-2431).
Duration of B. Ed. course is of two (02) years. As per NCTE Regulations 2014, it can be completed in maximum three academic years from the date of admission in the course. Minimum 80% attendance in course work and 90% attendance in school internship is required for appearing in university examination.

Duration of D.El.Ed course is generally 2 years.
Candidates must have completed 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized board or institution.
